The new series of the Real Hustle is almost written and ready to be filmed. This, yet to be titled series, will be the 9th outing for The Real Hustle making it one of the most successful shows ever on BBC3. Rumour has it that the gang have gone back to doing more elaborate large scale hustles and there might be some celebrities involved. All to be confirmed.
Still, the latest series of the Real Hustle, series 8, which sees the gang perform scams with some assistance from celebrities is now ready for broadcast sometime in early 2010 on BBC3. More news to come.

Watchdog on BBC1
This week saw Alexis and his writing partner Paul Wilson appear on the BBC1 flagship consumer show WATCHDOG. In a short pre-recorded piece the demonstrated how easy it is to get hold of people's credit card details over the phone.
Under the pretense of winning a prize the victims were asked to make a small payment for the delivery. Half of the people they called obliged by handing over all their details. All the victims were invited to the WATCHDOG studio audience and were a little shocked to discover they were the latest victims of the Real Hustle boys.
Alex and Paul will be making some more appearances on WATCHDOG during the rest of the series where they will be conning their way through some more audience members.
