BBC3 have commisioned a 60 minute special with the working title of Hustling Around The World. This will be a one-off show which will track the history of the Real Hustle in all it's reincarnations around the world, Russia, Belgium, Germany, USA, Israel and Australia. The show will be presented by Alexis, Paul and Jess and will feature clips from all the different versions of the show along with interviews and maybe even some 'behind the scenes' clips.

The Real Hustle -Series 9
The new series of the Real Hustle is almost written and ready to be filmed. This, yet to be titled series, will be the 9th outing for The Real Hustle making it one of the most successful shows ever on BBC3. Rumour has it that the gang have gone back to doing more elaborate large scale hustles and there might be some celebrities involved. All to be confirmed.
Still, the latest series of the Real Hustle, series 8, which sees the gang perform scams with some assistance from celebrities is now ready for broadcast sometime in early 2010 on BBC3. More news to come.

Watchdog on BBC1
This week saw Alexis and his writing partner Paul Wilson appear on the BBC1 flagship consumer show WATCHDOG. In a short pre-recorded piece the demonstrated how easy it is to get hold of people's credit card details over the phone.
Under the pretense of winning a prize the victims were asked to make a small payment for the delivery. Half of the people they called obliged by handing over all their details. All the victims were invited to the WATCHDOG studio audience and were a little shocked to discover they were the latest victims of the Real Hustle boys.
Alex and Paul will be making some more appearances on WATCHDOG during the rest of the series where they will be conning their way through some more audience members.

The Real Hustle On Holiday - Starts on May 21st
Thursday the 21st of May at 10:30 on BBC3 sees the first episode of a brand new series of The Real Hustle.
This ten part series is dedicated to holiday scams and is full of useful tips and things to look out for when traveling at home or abroad.

A team of hustlers - Alexis Conran, Paul Wilson and Jessica Clement - expose the scams that cheat tourists and travellers out of their holiday money.
Jess persuades a well-meaning tourist to take a gift through international customs, a good deed that could lead to him spending the rest of his life in jail.
Paul demonstrates how the unwary traveller can be separated from their luggage in a matter of minutes and Alex pulls a fast one on TV presenter Andi Peters by challenging him to the seemingly impossible task of ripping a phonebook in half.

Two More Weeks
Two more weeks to go before the end of filming for The Real Hustle series 8.
It has been a great series to work on, full of fun disguises and multi layered material that should hopefully make an entertaining series due out in September this year.
Series 7 ,which is holiday themed is almost ready! It is due to air in mid May, so for you Real Hustle fans the wait is almost over.

Don't Miss A Trick - The Real Hustle Magic Show
Don't Miss A Trick is a show that has been two years in the making. It was first made as a half hour pilot for BBC1. A year later a host was added and an extra half hour was filmed. It was screened on August Bank Holiday in 2008 and did very well, winning it's slot.
Recently BBC1 have requested a half hour version of the show to be screened on the 27th of March 2009. So if you missed it the first time, here's your chance to see what is a very fun show. It's a bit of the Real Hustle with some great magic tricks thrown in. You get to find out how some of the tricks work so you can go out and amaze your friends.

Here We Go!
Well hello there!
So what's the news?
Well, we have just started filming the 8th series of the Real Hustle which sees the gang go 'undercover' all around the UK doing what we do best - scamming the general public and showing people how not to fall for cons they might encounter. 'Undercover' means we're in disguise so watch out it could be you.
The 7th series of the show is currently being edited and should be airing some time this March/April. It should be a good one. It's all about travel scams and things to watch out for when you go on holiday. We spent two weeks in Spain on the Costa Del Crime near Marbella and found out that Spanish people and ex-pats are just as easy to scam as everyone else.We were there for the weather and the 'holiday' theme but it poured with rain every other day. I hope we'll be able to edit around our cold miserable faces. I do exaggerate, we did have one or two days of sunshine.
Well it's back to the shoot, trying not to get caught. What fun!
